That problem? How to autonomously load and unload trailers in warehouse environments — one of the most dangerous, inefficient, and costly processes in logistics.

The idea emerged from within a circle of industry contacts. Slava and a close team of peers met with the owner of a leading bottle manufacturing company. This company was very interested in automation and had worked to implement a very sophisticated full cycle production and storage storage solution, but had not yet solved for loading. The owner posed a challenge: “figure out how to automate loading” Slava accepted the challenge - and went to work.

He soon partnered with Yongping, a seasoned industry veteran and former CTO of a cutting-edge LiDAR company, whose technical expertise helped lay the foundation for a truly novel autonomous system. The final piece came with Chuck — a world-class relationship builder with deep robotics experience from the commercial cleaning industry. Chuck brought the leadership and commercial vision the company needed — and today serves as our CEO.

Together, the three set out to tackle the "never-before-solved" problem with a shared vision and relentless drive.

In just three years, Navflex has grown by leaps and bounds — and is now widely recognized as the industry leader in autonomous trailer loading and unloading. Headquartered in the Denver metro area with a dedicated R&D facility in the Munich metropolitan region, we serve customers across North America and Europe — with plans to expand globally.
